| It made me chuckle when I read this somewhere that the most uttered words during fashion week are always, "what will Phobe do next?". Phoebe Philo is hot shit right now, only person more inflamed than her is Burberry supremo, Christopher Bailey. This woman has almost redefined minimal chic, it's ridiculous. The fall collection is inspired by well crafted automobiles, you know the ones that have a nice leather trim, wood grain on the dashboard, hubcaps made from ivory and a chauffeur named Parker. The colour palette is simple browns, charcoal, creams, a bit of fur thrown in, but the Celine get up is always the same; neat dresses, smart turtlenecks, long overcoats and bags to die for. Phoebe Philo runs the world. |
